The members of the extremist group, identified to be part of a lesser-known organization, voluntarily surrendered to Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu in Itanagar on Sunday. They pledged to abide by the law of the land and declared their intention to give up extremism and pursue peaceful means of solving problems. Khandu welcomed their decision and assured them of the government's support in their rehabilitation in society. He added that these steps are essential in creating an atmosphere of development and prosperity in the state.
