A strong Typhoon Nanmadol turned towards japan on Sunday due to which numerous people had to take shelter in southwest japan. This also alerted the authority to get the area comprising three million residents to evacuate. The meteorological department has already issued a warning for the Kagoshima region.
"Maximum caution is required. It's a very dangerous typhoon. The wind will be so fierce that some houses might collapse," Ryuta Kurora, head of the JMA's forecast unit told.
