National Cricket Academy head VVS Laxman will be acting as India’s head coach for their upcoming tour of Zimbabwe as there was just a short turnaround time between their series and then, the Asia Cup starting from August 27 in the UAE, BCCI according to secretary Jay Shah on Friday. He also said that VVS Laxman will become in charge of the Indian team in Zimbabwe for all the three-match ODI series. It would not be like Rahul Dravid being on a break. The ODI series in Zimbabwe also finishes the series on August 22 and Dravid with the Indian team now reaches the UAE on August 23.
