Recently, Argentina and Iran expressed their interest in joining the BRICS association, via a formal application. While a certain decision is yet to be made clear, India is believed to have a rather heedful side on the entire expansion. This arises from the buzz that this expansion is likely to make the organization more China-centric, thus ruling against the interest of India.
