Cyclone Freddy has become a major concern in East African nations. At least 100 people have lost their lives in Malawi due to this cyclone. Around 85 deaths were reported in Blantyre. Around 134 serious injuries were reported from Blantyre. The deaths in various areas were ue to the collapse of houses, flash floods and landslides.
